Murderous Melanoma

OVERVIEW

Working in association with skin cancer charity Skcin. We developed a campaign that showed the dark and deadly side of skin cancer. Giving the melanoma itself a face that told a story. The melanoma was hand sculpted and then cast from different coloured silicone that were blended together to create the varying pigmentation within the melanoma. With multiple casts created, these were then photographed in identical positions to allow for the different tones and colouration to be blended together to create the skull imprinted within the melanoma.
