Feeling Deflated from Lockdown
This image is a visual metaphor. The notion of the last breath being exhaled, leaving life deflated. The venerability of oneself emotionally and sexually revealed and exposed. The act of laying down and dying.
While in lockdown prosthetic make up artist Bill Turpin and I decided to collaborate and make this tongue in cheek piece. We wanted to show the effects of lockdown on the labido and conjured up this deflated balloon willy. The piece is made of silicone and was photographed at home.
